2-WAY BIPOLAR SURROUND LOUDSPEAKER

The Aria SR 900 is a 2-way bipolar surround loudspeaker with the same acoustic properties as the other loudspeakers in the Aria range. Combined with two Aria 936 floorstanding speakers, an Aria CC 900 center speaker and a Sub 300 P subwoofer, the Aria SR 900 surround speakers guarantee a reference 5.1 home cinema system!
It features two 5" (13 cm) speaker drivers with Flax sandwich cones, providing midrange neutrality, rich bass, high resolution, and a natural sound. For smooth high frequencies, two TNF Aluminum/Magnesium inverted dome tweeters with Poron suspension and urethane waveguide are used to achieve controlled directivity and a better soundstage.
The SR 900 is slim, compact, and easy to install. Thanks to the integrated Polyfix wall-mounting system, it is also simple to mount.

PORON SUSPENSION FOR SILKY HIGHS

For the TNF tweeter, Focal has introduced two major upgrades to the Aluminum/Magnesium tweeter. The suspension that connects the dome to its frame uses Poron, a material with shape memory.
This type of suspension is directly derived from the famous Utopia Beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion in the 2000 Hz to 3000 Hz range - the frequency range to which the ear is highly sensitive - by a factor of 3.
The wide dispersion of the inverted dome has been optimized so that the highs are perceived as silky smooth regardless of your listening position in the room.

THE FLAX CONE IS HIGHLY ORIGINAL

This flax cone has been exclusively manufactured in France by Focal since 2013. With its original design, it is entirely focused on acoustic performance. It is a sandwich cone with a core of flax fibers enclosed between two sheets of glass fiber. Flax fiber produces a very natural, uncolored sound with high richness in the midrange and tight bass.
Its lightness offers great dynamics, and its rigidity ensures solid bass as well as excellent damping for a neutral and natural listening experience. Because flax fibers are hollow, they are half as heavy as glass fibers. Thanks to their very high tensile strength, they are ideal for increasing the flexural rigidity of a sandwich structure.
