ATC SCM19A – Active high-end loudspeaker with uncompromising control

The ATC SCM19A combines the sonic qualities of the popular SCM19 with the advantages of fully active loudspeaker technology. Thanks to an integrated active crossover and Class-AB power amplifiers perfectly matched to the drivers, the search for a suitable power amp is a thing of the past – each driver is driven directly by its own amplifier. The result is exceptionally precise, dynamic, and transparent music reproduction with superb control across the entire frequency range.

The heart of the SCM19A is the ATC-developed 150mm SL mid-bass driver with an integrated 75mm soft-dome structure, combined with a 25mm soft-dome tweeter and precision waveguide. The sealed enclosure ensures tight, fast bass and exceptionally clean transient response. Vocals and instruments are rendered with impressive naturalness, spaciousness, and authenticity – typical virtues of the legendary ATC studio monitors.

The integrated power amplifiers deliver 150 watts for the mid/bass range and 32 watts for the tweeter. Through active signal processing, the SCM19A achieves a level of dynamics, precision, and authority that is difficult to realize with passive speakers of this size class.
