ATC SCM20ASL – Active reference monitor for uncompromising music reproduction

The ATC SCM20ASL is the active version of the renowned SCM20, combining ATC's legendary driver technology with perfectly matched active electronics. Designed for music lovers and professionals who demand the highest level of precision, naturalness, and dynamics, the SCM20ASL offers an exceptionally direct and uncolored reproduction. The compact, sealed enclosure provides astonishing bass control, making the speaker ideal for small to medium-sized listening rooms as well as placement near walls.

Inside, a 150mm Super Linear mid-bass driver and the new 25mm S-Spec soft-dome tweeter with dual suspension are at work. The drivers are powered by an integrated 250-watt Class A/B MOSFET amplifier with an active Linkwitz-Riley crossover. By directly driving each unit, dynamics, transient response, and control are significantly improved. The result is an exceptionally open, natural, and high-resolution sound with the authenticity typical of ATC.

The SCM20ASL was introduced as a production model in 2025 and is based on the highly acclaimed 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. It is considered the most compact active hi-fi speaker in the ATC range and sets new standards in its class.
