At the heart of the ST-5000DC is a specially designed balanced toroidal transformer that galvanically isolates connected devices from the power grid and effectively reduces high-frequency mains interference. The integrated Audes DC-Blocker eliminates DC offset, prevents annoying transformer hum, and ensures a constantly stable power supply – even under extreme load conditions.

Especially during dynamic musical passages or power-intensive film soundtracks, amplifiers benefit from the enormous power reserves of the ST-5000DC. Short-term power peaks are provided effortlessly without voltage drops occurring. The result is more precise bass reproduction, greater dynamics, improved spatial imaging, and a relaxed, natural musical performance.

An integrated soft start reduces inrush current and protects both the power conditioner and the power grid. In addition, overload protection and an automatic thermal cutout ensure maximum operational safety. Despite its enormous power, the ST-5000DC operates almost silently and is therefore equally suitable for high-end hi-fi systems, home cinemas, showrooms, and professional recording studios.
