Audeze MM-520 – Professional open-back planar magnetic headphones

The Audeze MM-520 is a professional open-back over-ear headphone developed in collaboration with multi-award-winning mixing engineer Manny Marroquin. As the successor to the MM-500, the MM-520 is specifically aimed at mixing and mastering engineers, producers, and discerning music lovers who require precise and reliable sound evaluation.

At the core are Audeze's 90mm planar magnetic drivers, which provide fast impulse response, high detail resolution, and precise transients. The new SLAM™ (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modular) technology optimizes air pressure behavior in the open-back headphone design and supports powerful, controlled bass reproduction as well as a spacious soundstage.

The MM-520 combines its professional tuning with an open-back housing, an improved construction, and more comfortable memory foam ear pads for longer listening sessions. With an impedance of only 18 ohms, the headphones are also comparatively easy to drive.
