The ATH-AD2000X open-back Hi-Fi headphones guarantee a truly outstanding listening experience. The large 53 mm drivers feature Audio-Technica’s specially developed CCAW voice coils, which impress with crystal-clear audio reproduction and rich, balanced bass. This makes the ATH-AD2000X particularly recommended for the high-precision reproduction of demanding music, such as classical and more. The open-back housing design with a lightweight aluminum honeycomb casing offers superior comfort even during long listening sessions. The unique two-part headband concept with self-adjusting, softly fitting wings leaves the top of the head free and exerts no pressure – for a particularly relaxed and immersive musical experience.

The ATH-AD2000X impresses with a two-part magnetic circuit for high efficiency and full sound, as well as voice coils made of high-purity copper (CCAW voice coils with copper-clad aluminum wire, 99.99% oxygen-free copper).

Permendur magnetic circuit

The magnetic circuit with a Permendur magnetic core (an alloy consisting of equal parts cobalt and iron) gives the ATH-AD2000X extraordinary sound quality with diverse playback characteristics.

Y-cable

The ATH-AD2000X is equipped with a four-core CCAW cable with OFC conductors and ensures perfect reproduction of the original sound.

Ultralight

Further highlights include the highly rigid, stable, yet very lightweight magnesium alloy construction and the low weight of just 265 g.

D.A.D.S. system

The Double Air Damping System (D.A.D.S.) was developed exclusively by Audio-Technica and ensures excellent bass reproduction.

PCOCC cable

The ATH-AD2000X is equipped with a high-purity PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Cast) cable, which is characterized by excellent conductivity and signal transmission without coloration.

3D Wing Support System

The 3D Wing Support System of the headband automatically adjusts to different head shapes and sizes, providing optimal comfort.
