With its newly developed core mount technology, large integrated 58mm driver units with tungsten-coated diaphragms, and a special housing with a honeycomb-punched structure, this Audio-Technica flagship combines the best features of innovative audio technology, making it the ideal headphone for discerning Hi-Fi enthusiasts.

The driver unit of the ATH-ADX5000 is a perfectly integrated design consisting of the diaphragm, voice coil, baffle, and magnet. This effectively reduces unwanted vibrations. Furthermore, the new design eliminates the need for screw clamps, which contributes to weight reduction. The highly rigid baffle is made of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) and glass fiber, ensuring high stability for diaphragm excursion.

High-resolution audio drivers

High-resolution "True Motion" audio drivers enable a wide high-frequency response for true high-resolution playback.

Core Mount Technology

The driver unit has been optimally positioned within the housing to facilitate better, more efficient airflow, resulting in particularly transparent mid and high-range reproduction as well as punchy, precise bass.

Luxury accessories

The ATH-ADX5000 comes with a luxurious carrying case and a 6NOFC oxygen-free copper cable with a machined stainless steel 6.3mm jack plug to avoid unwanted resonance—for a first-class audio experience.

Alcantara ear pads and headband

The ear pads and headband are covered in Alcantara, offering a particularly comfortable fit for extra-long listening sessions. This high-quality, durable material is especially well-known in the automotive and fashion industries.

Honeycomb structure

The ATH-ADX5000 features a highly efficient housing design that combines the honeycomb-punched structure with closed sides (to prevent side air pressure loss), enabling perfectly balanced audio reproduction.
