The AT33xEN is an excellent all-around cartridge that delivers warm, full-bodied audio reproduction. It features an elliptical stylus with a thickness of 0.3 x 0.7 mil, attached to a tapered hard duralumin cantilever, to ensure superior groove tracking with improved high-frequency control. Our newly developed suspension mechanism uses piano wire for even better tracking accuracy and slightly lowers the dynamic compliance to achieve a fuller sound, especially in the low-to-mid frequency range.

The cartridge’s composite body, made of die-cast zinc, aluminum, and high-strength polymer, reduces and distributes resonance throughout the body, resulting in a balanced, natural sound reproduction without favoring specific frequencies. The AT33x’s dual moving coil design features independent PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) coils for the left and right channels, ensuring superior channel separation and pure, consistent signal transmission. A neodymium magnet and a Permendur yoke create a strong magnetic field that maximizes power generation efficiency, leading to responsive, high-resolution analog reproduction.

Like all cartridges in the AT33x series, the AT33xEN body features threaded holes for easy mounting (only two screws required). These threaded holes are particularly useful when mounting the cartridge to an integrated tonearm.
