For effective resonance control, Audio-Technica combines an aluminum base, a precision-machined titanium housing, and an elastomer cover. The lightweight titanium housing is manufactured using modern Japanese precision methods and combines high stability with an elegant, organic design.

The Special Line Contact stylus is mounted on a solid boron cantilever with a 0.28 mm diameter. Precise tracking enables detailed high-frequency reproduction with low distortion and supports smooth, gentle tracking of the record groove.
