The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000 is an open-back, high-end headphone for discerning, neutral home listening.

It is designed to deliver a very natural and transparent sound, with an exceptionally wide and airy soundstage. Vocals and instruments sound very clear and realistic, without artificial coloration.

Typical features include:

• open-back design (not an isolating headphone, intended only for quiet environments)
• very precise and detailed reproduction
• slight emphasis on naturalness rather than exaggerated bass
• high wearing comfort due to low weight and soft ear pads

In short: A headphone for critical, relaxed listening, less suitable for on-the-go use or bass-heavy music.
