You said perfection was impossible. Strive for excellence and be content with a job well done. Acutus was born from twenty years of striving for perfection and, even today, after a quarter-century of production, it remains virtually unchanged. It founded not only the company, but also the philosophy of striving for perfection in everything we do. Today, it is the Acutus Classic.

Clean cut

The Acutus breaks with convention and removes distortion that clouds the sound. This way, you hear only what is in your records.

Vinyl skeptics become fans, marveling at the Acutus’s superior bass grip and its vast, widescreen projection of the soundstage, the thunderous dynamics, and the crescendos that always bring a smile to your face.

Classic performance

The advantage of direct-drive turntables lies in their high motor torque. By comparison, belt-drive turntables usually use low-power motors coupled with a thin belt to minimize motor vibrations on the platter.

Defying all conventions, AVID uses a powerful synchronous motor and two drive belts. This allows for optimal control over the heavy platter. The results are truly breathtaking: with deep, dynamic bass and impressive rhythmic timing.
