Product description
AVID PELLERE Phono Preamplifier
The PELLERE phono stage reflects the innovations of our flagship PULSARE, as it also processes audio signals symmetrically and is equipped with the same extremely high-quality components. However, the electrical connection settings for the moving magnet or moving coil cartridge used are adjusted here via small switches on the underside of the preamplifier. The values for gain, impedance, and capacitance can be varied as listed in the technical data below. Due to this versatility, almost any cartridge can be used and optimally adjusted. The passive RIAA circuit with Neumann high-frequency correction and high-end capacitors ensures the most linear reproduction possible.
Connections to the cartridge and the downstream amplifier can be made via both balanced XLR connections and RCA jacks. The separate regulated 300-watt power supply provides the phono stages with more than sufficient power.
The PELLERE is crafted with passion in our own factory – from circuit board assembly to the manufacture of the high-quality chassis, right through to testing and quality control, every production step is managed by AVID, ensuring that hi-fi enthusiasts receive a reliable and sonorous product for many years to come, with which the full potential of vinyl reproduction can be realized.
