AVID PULSUS Phono Stage
AVID’s smallest phono stage, featuring a power supply housed in a separate chassis, is called PULSUS; despite its compact dimensions and comparatively affordable price, it offers the same extensive cartridge adjustment options as its larger siblings. Settings for the various parameters of the cartridge in use—gain, input impedance, and input capacitance—are adjusted via small sliding switches on the underside of the preamplifier.
Excellent sound quality is guaranteed by high-grade components, a passive RIAA circuit with Neumann high-frequency correction featuring premium capacitors for exceptionally linear playback, gold-plated RCA inputs and outputs, and an external regulated power supply.
The PULSUS is crafted with passion in our own factory – from circuit board assembly and the manufacture of the high-quality chassis to testing and quality control, every production step is managed by AVID to ensure that hi-fi enthusiasts receive a reliable and sweet-sounding product for many years to come, allowing them to fully unlock the potential of vinyl playback.
