AVID's overarching goal is to achieve the best possible sound quality. As with AVID turntables, the objective has always been to provide cartridges with a foundation that can be described as a nearly noise-free environment. This makes the cartridge's job as easy as possible - by reducing the record's noise floor and eliminating as many external vibrations as possible.
In combination with AVID’s renowned technical expertise, this principle has been applied to the architecture of AVID’s entirely new, exceptional cartridges. Every component has been completely researched and developed from scratch in order to design and manufacture our own bodies and yokes. This ensures that unwanted noise is quickly channeled away from the stylus, leaving only pure information -
unadulterated musical enjoyment.
