A brand-new innovation: CS 2.3
In the tradition of our compact streaming CD receivers, a new high-performance version of our INSPIRATION all-in-one has been created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. Numerous innovations have been incorporated, and the new RC X app also provides complete control over the CS 2.3.
A primary focus was placed on a completely modernized app control. The new AVM X-STREAM Engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a complete in-house AVM development and is entirely software-based, meaning it can be updated online to ensure future-proofing. An HDMI (ARC) interface is on board, as is a modern Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Additional digital inputs and a USB-A interface are also standard, as is a powerful MM and MC phono input stage. A new addition is the digital outputs, which now also feature volume control.

In terms of sound quality, there has also been a huge leap compared to the predecessor, the CS 2.2. The entirely new amplifier stages are based on the large OVATION CS 8.3 and can drive any loudspeaker with ease using 140 watts of continuous power.
The digital section has been completely redeveloped as part of the new design. It now utilizes a new D/A converter from the latest ESS generation (9038 Q 2 M) – also a significant sonic gain that benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and true to life.

The CS 2.3 is available in the standard colors of aluminum silver or black; upon request, it is also available as an elegant CELLINI version with a chrome front. Like all AVM INSPIRATION models, the CS 2.3 is handcrafted at the AVM factory in Malsch. The vast majority of suppliers, e.g., for the precision housing parts, are also located in the immediate vicinity. Repeated, intensive quality controls during all production steps and a multi-day break-in period for every single device ensure our promise of long-term reliability; we grant a two-year warranty on the compact CS 2.3, with an additional two years upon online registration.
