A modern media player: The combination of CD player and streaming functionality

Building on our tradition and the wealth of experience we have gained since the 1990s in developing digitally uncompromising audio equipment, the new high-performance media player MP 30.3 has been created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. Numerous innovations have been incorporated into this 30.3 device, and the new RC X APP also provides complete control over the MP 30.3. Separate digital playback devices for CD and streaming functions are now a thing of the past.

The ability to play your CD collection remains, now complemented by the nearly endless music catalogs of streaming providers.
All modern connections are provided, allowing even a TV to be connected via HDMI ARC. To achieve our goal of making this compact media player one of the best-sounding on the global market, we miniaturized proven audio technologies from our larger media players and designed them into an elegant, screwless precision housing.

A major focus was placed on a completely modernized app control system. The RC X app clearly displays all important functions. Extremely simple, intuitive operation and a clear, beautifully designed user interface make managing even large music collections a breeze. This sparks a desire to discover new music on numerous streaming platforms. The AVM RC X app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android-controlled devices. Additionally, basic functions can also be controlled using the included full-aluminum RC 3 remote control.

The new AVM X-STREAM Engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a complete in-house development by AVM, is entirely software-based, and can therefore be updated online to ensure future-proofing. An HDMI (ARC) interface is on board, as is modern Bluetooth connectivity; additional digital inputs and a USB A interface are standard.
Completely new are the digital outputs, which can also be volume-controlled. TVs can be easily connected and conveniently controlled via the HDMI ARC input.

In terms of sound, the MP 30.3 also represents a major leap forward. This sonic progress is based on the use of technologies and circuits proven in other AVM MP players. The decisive sound characteristics of the MP 30.3 are achieved through the use of state-of-the-art D/A converter stages, which have been optimized for use in the CS 30.3 chassis.

The digital section of the MP 30.3 was re-imagined from the ground up during its development, as this crucial part of the MP 30.3 is fundamentally based on our decades of experience. A selected ESS converter from the new generation (9038 Q 2 M) is now used here as a digital-to-analog converter—a significant sonic gain that benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and realistically.

The MP 30.3 is available in standard aluminum silver or black finishes. Like all AVM Inspiration devices, the MP 30.3 is handcrafted at our factory in Malsch. The vast majority of our suppliers are also located in the immediate vicinity. You are welcome to view our production process in our 'Making-of' video (QR code below).

Repeated, intensive quality checks during all production steps and a multi-day break-in period for every single device ensure our long-term promise of the highest reliability. We provide a 2-year warranty on the compact MP 30.3, with an additional 2 years upon online registration.
