CD 5 CD player from C.E.C.

High-end from Japan with the patented belt drive, which makes this CD player sound almost "analog" at the highest level.

Color: Black, Silver

Thanks to its patented belt drive, this CD player from Japan sounds very analog, musical, rich in detail, and neutral in the best sense of the word. CEC is one of the most renowned Japanese hi-fi manufacturers, and has been for over 60 years now.

In addition to its USB input, the player features an excellent-sounding 6.35 mm headphone jack. The sound profile can be varied thanks to two selectable filters: "Flat" sounds a bit punchier and more dynamic, while "Pulse" is somewhat softer but more detailed.

The built-in D/A converter also performs at a very high level and enables a resolution of up to 32 bits and a sampling rate of 384 kilohertz or a double-rate DSD data stream (DSD128) via the USB input. The other digital inputs, S/PDIF and the coaxial RCA input, process data up to 24 bits/192 kHz.

Analog outputs: 1 x XLR, 1 x RCA.
