Thanks to its powerful ES9028PRO chip from ESS and the expertise of the Japanese sound engineers at C.E.C., the DA SL sounds virtually analog, musical, detailed, and neutral in the best sense of the word when paired with the congenial TL 2N CD transport—meaning the incoming music signal is transmitted and delivered to the ear in the best possible way. CEC is one of the most renowned Japanese hi-fi manufacturers, and has been for almost 70 years now.

The DAC features the proprietary SuperLink for optimal connection to current TL 2N or TL 0 3.0 CD transports, or older TL 51, TL 2, and TL 3N models. Thanks to this digital connection—via four separate BNC cables for new models or one D-Sub-9 cable for older ones—the soundstage leaves nothing to be desired. The width and depth of the soundstage and the detailed musical flow are second to none.

Together with the TL 2N, it creates a “CD player in two housings” that need fear no competition in terms of sound quality.
