The gateway to the world of audiophile Cabasse coaxial speakers

At Cabasse, innovation is not a foreign concept, even in the entry-level premium class. Therefore, the Cabasse Socoa MC170 employs a two-way mid-high frequency driver based on the driver found in the Cabasse Eole coaxial satellites, which has been significantly further developed. Its particularly low-coloration tonality is especially impressive for speech reproduction in home cinema applications.

The special shape of the 13-centimeter bass chassis has been optimized by Cabasse for maximum mechanical rigidity. As a result, the chassis reproduces lower frequencies without distortion or coloration. The Kapton voice coil also contributes to this; it is perfectly ventilated, allowing for even higher power handling and faster response times. Both factors help the chassis achieve outstanding dynamic capabilities.

Info for tech fans: Fully automated production at Cabasse in France guarantees enormous reliability and minimal batch variance. This is important for consistently high performance. At Cabasse, not only is the frequency response on the listening axis measured in an anechoic chamber, but the entire 360° omnidirectional radiation behavior is used to optimize the crossover tuning. Through this approach based on the HDSE (Homogeneous Distribution of the Sonic Energy) principle, Cabasse achieves perfect control over the radiation pattern. Consequently, direct and reflected sound remain homogeneous, and the spatial imaging remains broad and stable. All for a superior music experience in your home.
