In the Cardas cable hierarchy, the CLEAR Beyond series is the gold standard. The CLEAR Beyond Power XL power cable is the new flagship of this series. Like all Cardas power cables, it consists of enameled, tinned, high-purity copper strands. Inside, three cable bundles are twisted together, insulated with PTFE, and held in position by air tubes. Each of these cable bundles in turn consists of seven sub-bundles, which are also twisted around one another. The diameter of the individual strands follows the Golden Ratio in relation to the next layer.

The construction is double-shielded. Each conductor track is thus elaborately protected, and the CLEAR Beyond Power XL is even less susceptible to RF interference than the CLEAR Beyond Power. Despite its impressive diameter, the cable is flexible, but due to the amount of copper strands used, it has a weight of a good 1.2 kg at a length of 1.5 meters. For this cable, Cardas Audio is using the new E5 plug for the first time, featuring silver-plated and rhodium-plated pure copper conductors.

The CLEAR power cables perform sonically in the same way known from the CLEAR speaker cables. They allow the music to retain its flow, presenting it against a pitch-black background with fantastic spatial imaging and naturalness. The CLEAR Beyond Power XL is a true master of interference-free, three-dimensional imaging of opulent scale. The finest details are positioned perfectly in the room with complete ease and never in an annoying way, and the entire musical reproduction seems wrapped in black velvet. Exactly the right cable for truly great HiFi.

If your home audio system would also appreciate an excellent power strip, please take note of the Nautilus Power Strip.
