The CLEAR Beyond is literally to be positioned "beyond the CLEAR." Technically speaking, the CLEAR Beyond is a dual-constructed CLEAR, elaborately designed with PFA tube stabilizers. Inside, eight inner conductor strands, each 2.8 mm in diameter, are used. However, like all Cardas cables, these consist of individually enameled litz wires. In the CLEAR Beyond, they are wound in opposing axial directions around a central core, increasing in diameter with each additional layer. The result is an overall cross-field, eight-axis construction.

The production of a CLEAR Beyond is very complex. It runs through the cable winding machines a total of 70 times until all layers are combined. At Cardas, it takes two working days for an experienced employee to create a pair of cables. The CLEAR Beyond Speaker is capable of transmitting even the most brutal dynamic impulses to the loudspeakers without restraint and opens up a spatial representation even above that of the CLEAR. Due to its complex internal construction, the bi-wiring option is surprisingly positioned a notch above two separate CLEAR speaker cables.

Termination options:

The CLEAR Beyond comes with cold-forged connectors. There is a choice of 6 mm and 9 mm spades, Magnepan pins, and bananas. These are made of forged copper, which is first silver-plated and then given a light rhodium vapor deposition to prevent oxidation. Please note: This type of connector provides excellent conductivity but is mechanically easier to bend than connectors with a brass core. Since the cable itself has a high intrinsic weight, the spade is often the more intelligent choice.

The CLEAR Beyond Speaker can also be manufactured as a bi-wiring variant with separate inner conductors for bass and mid/high frequencies for an additional charge of €900. In this case, it is recommended to use a combination of spade and banana at the loudspeaker side in order to perfectly drive even a single-wiring loudspeaker.
