It was intended to be absolutely neutral and transparent, with superb dynamics, great clarity, and speed – that was the approach George Cardas pursued when he created the Clear, the first cable of a new generation. Today, its new technology is protected under US Patent Number 7,674,973. The technical concept behind it? To synchronize the speed of charge propagation within the cable with that of signal transmission. In doing so, the cable remains very musical, not sacrificing its outstanding spatiality for an abundance of detail in the super-high frequency range that could become unpleasant over time.

For those who felt the need for more depth and precision with older Cardas cables, this is the right choice. The sonic advantage of this cable over other high-quality digital cables is unexpectedly high. If you are planning to gradually upgrade your system to Cardas, the Clear AES/EBU is a clear recommendation for a starting point. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 110 ohms.

The CLEAR Digital comes standard with rhodium-plated Cardas XLR plugs.
