It was intended to be absolutely neutral and transparent, with superb dynamics, great clarity, and speed – that was the approach George Cardas pursued when he created the CLEAR, the first cable of a new generation. Today, its new technology is protected under US Patent Number 7,674,973. The technical concept behind it? Synchronizing the speed of charge propagation within the cable with that of signal transmission. The cable remains very musical, and it does not trade its excellent spatial imaging for a level of detail in the super-high frequency range that could become fatiguing over time. If you felt that older Cardas cables lacked depth and precision, this is the right choice for you.

George Cardas utilizes three strands of fine individual litz wires with a smooth, enameled surface, which are wound in opposing spirals around a non-conductive Kevlar core. Through elaborate, dual-layer stabilization, they remain in perfect position relative to one another. The foundations of CLEAR technology are also employed in a simplified form in CLEAR Reflection, CLEAR Light, and CLEAR Sky.

Termination options:

The cable is available balanced with Cardas CG-XLR connectors or unbalanced with Cardas SRCA connectors. Cable and connectors are "Made in USA". The cable is terminated by hand in Bandon (Oregon/USA).
