The CLEAR Power was the first power cable in the new CLEAR series. Like all Cardas cables, it relies on enameled, ultra-pure copper litz wires that are also extra-tinned. It consists of three twisted cable strands, which are insulated with PTFE and held in position by air tubes. The construction is double-shielded; at the input, each conductor path is protected against RF interference. The CLEAR Power is surprisingly flexible for a cable of this diameter.

The CLEAR power cables operate sonically in the same way as the CLEAR speaker cables. They allow the music its flow, present it against a pitch-black background, and emphasize plasticity and naturalness. Those looking for a significant change in the sonic signature of the connected device will not find what they are looking for with Cardas.

Termination options:

The CLEAR Power comes standard with Cardas power plugs. These feature pure copper contacts that are silver-plated and then rhodium-plated. Type 3455RS Schuko plugs and type 3455R IEC connectors are supplied as standard.

Upon request, a 20A plug (type C19) can also be supplied for high-power electronics. Such a plug is used, for example, in individual devices from manufacturers such as Audia Flight, Jeff Rowland, and T+A.

Owners of very slim components with overhanging housings, such as current Devialet, LINN, or Micromega units, can order a Furutech FI-C15 NCF IEC connector with a particularly compact design as a special order.

American power plugs for the input side are also available upon request.
