It was intended to be absolutely neutral and transparent, with superb dynamics, great clarity, and speed – that was the approach George Cardas pursued when he created the CLEAR, the first cable of a new generation. Today, its new technology is protected under U.S. Patent number 7,674,973. The technical idea behind it? To synchronize the velocity of propagation of the charge within the cable with that of the signal transmission. In doing so, the cable remains very musical; it does not achieve its outstanding spatiality at the cost of an abundance of detail in the super-high frequency range that could become tiresome over time.

Those who felt a desire for more depth and precision with older Cardas cables have come to the right place. At the same time, for a complex speaker cable, the CLEAR Speaker remains unusually flexible, thus allowing it to be routed in hard-to-reach places. Due to its construction with two cable strands wired in a four-axis configuration, the cable can only be terminated as a single-wiring variant. For bi-wiring, the CLEAR Jumpers are recommended.

Termination options:

The CLEAR comes with cold-forged connectors. 6 mm and 9 mm spades, Magnepan pins, and bananas are available. These are made of forged copper, which is first silver-plated and then given a light rhodium flash to prevent oxidation. Please note: This type of connector conducts excellently, but bends more easily than connectors with a brass core. Since the cable itself has a high dead weight, the spade is often the smarter choice.
