The CLEAR Cygnus succeeds the CLEAR Light. That is no easy task, as the Light was the most successful cable in the CLEAR series in the USA. The construction of the CLEAR Cygnus with four inner conductors is slightly less complex than that of the flagship CLEAR, yet it already possesses many of its sonic characteristics. The CLEAR Cygnus Phono sounds very natural and pleasantly detailed without being bright, and offers a spacious presentation with increased holographic presence compared to the CLEAR Light.

The CLEAR Cygnus features a quad-axial design, in which four inner conductors are held in position by PFA tubes. The inner conductors, in turn, consist of enamelled individual strands wound in multiple layers in opposite directions around a Kevlar core. These strands are arranged in the Golden Ratio in terms of their size relative to one another and to the insulators surrounding them - as is customary with Cardas. The CLEAR Cygnus is double-shielded yet very flexible. This is particularly true for the connection wires leading out of the cable bundle to the plugs. The phono version consists of a single strand of the CLEAR Cygnus Interconnect with modified termination.

Eingangsseitig mit geradem Cardas-DIN-Stecker aus Aluminium oder 2 x GRMO RCA-Steckern. Ebenso erhältlich mit 90°-Cardas-DIN-Stecker aus Aluminium.

Sonderkonfigurationen wie 4-PIN-DIN mit Erdung über den Außenkontakt oder 5-PIN-DIN mit von der Schirmung getrennter Erdleitung sind möglich. Ausgangsseitig standardmäßig mit 2 RCA-Steckern. Auf Wunsch auch mit 2 XLR-Steckern. Gegen Aufpreis auch mit rhodinierten Cardas-XLR-Steckern. Erdung separat oder auf Wunsch auch am Pin 1 der XLR-Stecker.
