In 2019, the Parsec Headphone cable succeeded the Cardas Cross Headphone, which had been arguably the most successful upgrade cable on the global market for 16 years. The new Parsec utilizes even finer enamel-coated litz wires with slightly thicker insulation between the four cable bundles, all of which are arranged according to the golden ratio. The four cable bundles are spiraled inside the cable and are now shielded by a combination of conductors and semi-conductive tapes.

In a direct sonic comparison with its successful predecessor, the result is an expanded soundstage and even finer articulation of detail. The Parsec remains true to the sound signature of the entire Cardas Parsec cable line, delivering an overall warm and rich performance with velvety high frequencies.

The very low microphonics and excellent durability of the cable remain unchanged; it is now supplied in a dark green finish, making it appear more subtle than its predecessor. As with all other Cardas headphone cables, production is customized to the customer's requirements. Input and output configurations are therefore freely selectable.
