The Cayin N8iii is a reference-class high-end mobile hi-res player and Cayin's current flagship. The device combines modern streaming and Android technology with a genuine tube output stage based on the KORG Nutube 6P1. As a result, the N8iii marries the precision of modern DAC technology with a warm, analog sound character.

Particularly striking is the so-called "Triple Timbre" system. Users can choose between three sound signatures:

• Tube Classic
• Tube Modern
• Solid State

In addition, the player offers various amplifier modes such as Class A+, Class A, and Class AB, allowing the sound character and power output to be adjusted to different headphones and musical genres.

The N8iii is clearly aimed at audiophiles and enthusiasts looking for uncompromising mobile sound. Thanks to its high output power, it can drive both sensitive in-ears and demanding over-ear headphones. At the same time, it is also suitable as a DAC, preamplifier, or network streamer for stationary hi-fi systems.
