The Cayin CS-6LA, which is remote-controllable in all its functions, features two pairs of stereo outputs for bi-amping configurations. The power supply for the four Russian 12AU7EH tubes used in the linear amplification stage is rectified by two NOS US RCA 22DE4 rectifier tubes. This combination brings composure and fluidity to the sound image. For the CS-6LA, Cayin consistently relies on extremely high-quality American Multicap coupling capacitors and Japanese TAKMAN carbon film resistors, which have been carefully selected for their sonic characteristics. A generously dimensioned power transformer and filter chokes ensure optimal dynamics and stability of the sound image. The high-quality aluminum front panel of the CS-6LA is characterized by high oxidation resistance and low surface light sensitivity. Cayin chooses the time-consuming process of manual lacquering for the chassis to achieve a mirror-smooth and fine surface with uniform color and gloss.
