Mono power amplifier output power of 2x 28 watts Class A

With the CS-845M mono blocks, Cayin presents two heavyweights that are also perfectly matched in design to the Cayin CS-6LA preamplifier. Their 300B tubes in the driver stage, in conjunction with the 845 output tubes, mobilize a high single-ended output power of 28 watts Class A per channel. Each mono block uses a TUNG-SOL 6SL7 and 6SN7GTB tube as a voltage amplifier. The TUNG-SOL tubes from Russia used here are perfectly suited for high-quality audio applications. These tube amps sound delicate and warm without distorting the sound. Externally accessible controls and the display via the integrated meter allow the user to easily adjust the optimal operating point of the 845 tubes. For use in the top-of-the-line CS-845M mono blocks, Cayin developed two different transformers: a toroidal transformer that features high inductance and enables high efficiency in the power supply due to low resistance. A special multi-layer winding process is used in the EI core of the output transformer to achieve a particularly balanced and realistic sound.

The high standards of the Cayin CS-845M mono blocks are also evident on the exterior. Their high-quality aluminum panels impress with strong oxidation resistance and low surface light sensitivity. The manual cabinet painting process is time-consuming, but this results in a mirror-smooth and fine finish with uniform color and gloss.
