Cayin Soul 170C Tube Preamplifier – audiophile precision with character

The Cayin Soul 170C is a high-end tube preamplifier that delights music lovers with its authentic, warm tube sound. The exclusive tube configuration featuring ECC83 and 6SN7GTB tubes for signal amplification, as well as 6CA7 and 17AX4GT tubes for voltage regulation and rectification, creates an emotional and vivid soundstage that turns every recording into an experience.

With five analog inputs—four RCA and one balanced XLR—the Soul 170C offers maximum flexibility for connecting a wide variety of audio sources. On the output side, both RCA and XLR are available, allowing the preamplifier to be seamlessly integrated into any high-quality HiFi setup.

For uncompromising sound quality, Cayin relies on selected components: point-to-point wiring, silver wire internal cabling, high-quality coupling capacitors, an ALPS motor potentiometer, and a hand-wound power transformer manufactured in-house minimize signal loss and guarantee the highest build quality.

The sound tuning can be individually adjusted thanks to selectable negative feedback levels (high/low)—ranging from open and emotional to precise and controlled. A soft-start circuit protects the sensitive tubes during power-up and extends their lifespan. The removable tube cover offers additional protection and underscores the well-thought-out design.

The Cayin Soul 170C can be conveniently controlled via the front panel knobs or the included infrared remote control. The solid aluminum front and side panels made of handcrafted North American black walnut also make the preamplifier a visual highlight of any HiFi system. The low-resonance chassis with anti-vibration feet ensures stability and acoustic tranquility—available in elegant black.

Since 1993, Cayin has stood for audiophile technology with passion and character. The Soul 170C is the perfect choice for music lovers who value excellent sound, high-quality workmanship, and stylish design.
