Cayin Soul 170P Tube Power Amplifier – powerful Class A sound for audiophile perfection

The Cayin Soul 170P is a high-performance tube stereo power amplifier that offers an exceptionally musical and detailed listening experience, thanks to its pure Class A push-pull circuitry and exclusive tube configuration. With 60 watts per channel at 8 ohms, it delivers authoritative power for demanding speakers – and can be bridged to an impressive 120 watts per channel in mono mode using a second Soul 170P.

The combination of four TUNG-SOL KT170 output tubes, two JJ 12AU7 voltage amplifiers, two JJ 6SN7 driver tubes, and one 17AX4GT rectifier tube ensures a stable, emotional, and analytically precise reproduction. The Dynamic Auto-Bias function automatically monitors and regulates the tube bias current – for optimal performance and maximum lifespan without the need for manual adjustments.

For the highest sound quality, Cayin utilizes point-to-point wiring, silver internal wiring, and custom-wound toroidal and EI transformers. The moderate negative feedback (NFB) provides a balanced ratio between control and musicality. The selectable negative feedback levels (High/Low) allow for individual adjustment of the sound signature – from open and lively to focused and controlled.

The gold-plated binding posts provide secure connection options for speaker cables with banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wires. A soft-start circuit, MCU-controlled protection logic, BMI indicators for tube monitoring, and a removable tube cage protect sensitive components and extend the amplifier's service life.

Visually, the Soul 170P impresses with a solid aluminum front panel and side cheeks made of handcrafted North American black walnut. The low-resonance chassis with anti-vibration feet underscores the high-quality workmanship and makes the amplifier a stylish centerpiece for any hi-fi system – available in elegant black.
