The Chord C-lite optical cable is an original Chord Company design. The C-lite is available in various lengths and is equipped with both Toslink and mini-jack optical connectors. This means it can be connected to many of the miniaturized DACs and DAPs currently available without the need for a signal-degrading adapter.

The Chord C-lite uses a high-bandwidth PMA optical cable and is designed to transmit signals up to 96K according to the industry standard.

The central conductor is protected by an inner jacket of soft PVC, which is then covered with an outer jacket of hard PVC. This helps to prevent crush damage and is flexible enough to allow for a tight bend radius without affecting the light carrier.

The Chord C-lite is available in lengths of 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m, and 10m in both Toslink-to-Toslink and mini-jack-to-Toslink configurations.

For portable devices, the C-lite is available in lengths of 15cm and 30cm in Toslink-to-mini-jack and mini-jack-to-mini-jack configurations.
