The Chord Company C‑screenX speaker cable (Ban-Ban) is a pre-terminated entry-to-mid-level cable characterized primarily by its good build quality, shielding, and ease of use.

It is made of oxygen-free copper (OFC) and uses a twisted conductor geometry with XLPE insulation. Additionally, it is shielded, which can reduce interference from external sources (e.g., Wi-Fi, power supplies) – an advantage over many basic speaker cables.

The term "Ban-Ban" means that banana plugs are already fitted on both ends. This makes installation very simple: just plug it in instead of screwing or crimping. This is particularly practical if you frequently swap connections or have hard-to-reach terminals.

In terms of sound, the cable is often described as slightly warm and full, with solid dynamics. It is not a high-end solution, but it offers a very good price-performance ratio for typical hi-fi or home cinema setups.
