By combining the separately shielded conductor design of the Chord Signature XL and the silver-plated, XLPE-insulated 12AWG conductors of the Chord Epic, the Epic XL makes a major leap in dynamics, detail, and musical coherence. Available with factory-terminated, silver-plated ChordOhmic connectors.

Epic is a Tuned ARAY cable consisting of heavy-gauge, silver-plated, multi-strand, oxygen-free copper conductors with an increased volume of PTFE insulation around each conductor. These are housed in a specially selected PVC jacket to minimize mechanical noise, which is protected by a braided nylon sleeve.
