The PowerHAUS P6 from Chord Company is the result of years of development work on mains distribution blocks for hi-fi systems. This work took place both in the Chord demonstration room and at hi-fi shows. The project began as early as 2003 and is one of the company's longest product development phases.

High-quality components for the best sound quality

The PowerHAUS P6 uses solid internal cabling and high-quality sockets, which were selected for their excellent sound quality. The 16-amp IEC input socket ensures that the device is compatible with even the most demanding hi-fi systems. To minimize noise and maximize musical performance, the PowerHAUS models dispense with serial filters, switches, and neon power indicators. A solid construction helps to avoid micro-noise.

Minimization of earth noise

Chord has minimized the interaction between the internal live, neutral, and earth cables and strives for a clean earth connection wherever possible. Earth noise is one of the biggest problems for the final performance of a hi-fi component. Having previously developed ARAY noise reduction technology for other products, it was a logical step to apply this technology to the PowerHAUS P6 as well.

PowerHAUS range for all hi-fi levels

The PowerHAUS range from Chord Company caters to all levels of hi-fi systems. The higher-end models (S6 and M6) are equipped with more complex shielding and noise reduction technologies. Although the PowerHAUS P6 is considered an "entry-level power supply," it still offers all the essential elements and the performance required for a clean power supply for your hi-fi system.
