At its heart lies the advanced Spartan 6 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) with 1,000 times the processing power of a conventional mass-produced DAC chip. DAVE’s FPGA is loaded with over a million lines of code to address complex timing issues directly, quickly and accurately.

DAVE features a full-sized LCD display, which shows input, sample frequency, volume and setup configuration options via our famous portal design. On its fascia, DAVE also features a rotary encoder with a large stainless steel controller and ball buttons, which allows for direct interactivity, alongside the supplied remote control.
