Huei has been fully designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK and has been meticulously developed to provide turntables with the same high standards of amplification for which Chord Electronics has become known over the last 30 years.

Huei is equipped with both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil functionality and offers compatibility with a wide range of cartridges thanks to comprehensive gain and impedance matching options. Huei’s high- and low-gain switching settings are easily accessible via front-panel controls, providing welcome flexibility.

Huei's advanced design offers (for the first time in a Chord Electronics phono stage) ultra-low-noise microprocessor control of its main features, including a convenient memory function. With multiple options for impedance-matching, eight-stage switchable gain and a switchable rumble filter, Huei's design offers comprehensive compatibility.

Precision-machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminium, Huei has a similar form factor to the company’s Qutest DAC and also features a top-mounted viewing window that gives a glimpse of the illuminated electronics inside. The design also features the same polychromatic control spheres for which the company is known across its digital products. The illuminated spheres on the front panel provide direct access to Huei’s gain and impedance settings, MM/MC cartridge selection and access to the on-board rumble filter.

Huei is an elegant, practical and high-performance solution for integrating turntables into Chord Electronics (and other) systems and features both unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) outputs with RCA inputs. A high-quality external 12V power supply is also included.
