The Clearaudio Artist V2 is a high-quality moving magnet (MM) cartridge in the upper high-end MM segment of the V2 series. It is sonically superior to the Performer V2 and is designed for higher resolution, better channel separation, and more spatial imaging. Thanks to its precisely tuned construction with an ebony housing, it combines wealth of detail with a rather natural, slightly warm sound characteristic.

Compared to the Performer V2, the Artist V2 offers, above all, more transparency, more stable imaging, and lower distortion, especially during complex passages and in the inner grooves of the record. It is therefore a typical upgrade for more demanding analog setups without having to switch immediately to the significantly more expensive MC segment.
