The Clearaudio Basic V2 is a high-quality phono stage specifically developed for demanding vinyl playback. Despite its minimalist design, it offers very precise signal processing and high sound quality.

The housing is made of solid aluminum and provides good shielding against interference. The operation is deliberately kept simple: a single power switch on the top, while the important settings—such as switching between MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil)—are located on the bottom.

The Basic V2 enables exact RIAA equalization with very high accuracy (±0.1 dB) and offers a switchable subsonic filter that reduces low-frequency interference. This results in a very detailed, low-noise reproduced sound with high dynamics.

Due to its flexible adjustment, it is compatible with almost all common MM and many high-quality MC cartridges and is suitable for both entry-level audiophiles and experienced enthusiasts.
