The Clearaudio Concept MC Signature is the refined version of the Concept MC and is one of the affordably priced high-end MC cartridges. It was specially developed to offer as much of the typical MC sound quality as possible – namely high resolution, a large soundstage, and fine dynamics – without venturing into extreme price regions.

At its core, the Signature is based on the same concept as the standard Concept MC, but goes further in key areas: in particular, the selection and fine-tuning of the components ensure better measured values and audibly more precision. As a result, it achieves higher channel separation and even more accurate channel balance, which is directly noticeable in a more stable and precise spatial imaging.

Technically, Clearaudio relies on a boron cantilever in combination with a Micro-Line diamond stylus, allowing the record groove to be traced very accurately. This design enables particularly clean high-frequency resolution and reduces distortion, especially in the inner grooves.

The housing is made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy with a ceramic coating, which ensures high stability and low resonance.
