The Clearaudio da Vinci V2 is a high-end reference moving coil (MC) cartridge and is one of Clearaudio's most technically sophisticated and sonically ambitious models below their absolute top-tier "Goldfinger" series.

It was developed to achieve the most extreme combination of dynamics, resolution, and tonally homogeneous reproduction possible. At its core is a very lightweight generator design with minimal moving mass, allowing the finest musical details to be tracked with exceptional speed and precision.

The housing consists of an aluminum body with an extremely hard ceramic coating, which effectively dissipates resonances and ensures highly controlled sound characteristics. Inside, a patented system of eight high-field-concentration magnets works to provide exceptionally stable and clean signal conversion.

Other notable technical features include the use of 24-karat gold coils in a symmetrical arrangement as well as a very lightweight boron cantilever with a Micro-HD stylus profile. This combination ensures extremely precise tracking of the groove along with very high dynamic capability.
