The Double Matrix Professional SONIC is Clearaudio's most powerful and advanced record cleaning machine. It was specifically developed for the thorough, gentle, and fully automatic cleaning of vinyl records and is aimed at both ambitious collectors and professional dealers.

The heart of the system is the so-called Double Matrix Technology: this cleans both sides of the record simultaneously. The machine automatically guides the record through a complete washing and drying process, enabling uniform and efficient cleaning without the need for manual flipping.

A central highlight is the integrated "SONIC" technology. This uses vibrations to subject the cleaning fluid and brushes to high-frequency oscillations. These so-called sonic vibrations loosen even deep-seated dirt from the grooves that would be difficult to reach with conventional brushes. At the same time, the treatment remains very gentle on the vinyl.

After cleaning, powerful suction completely removes the loosened fluid. As a result, the record is dry, clean, and ready to play immediately at the end of the process. An integrated anti-static function additionally reduces electrostatic charge, which significantly decreases crackling and dust attraction.

Operation is designed to be flexible: there is a fully automatic mode (cleaning at the touch of a button) as well as a manual mode, in which individual steps can be controlled separately. This makes the device suitable for both quick series cleaning and particularly dirty individual records.

The housing is made of solid aluminum and is designed for continuous operation. An integrated fill level indicator provides information about the cleaning fluid at any time, and overheat protection safeguards the suction turbine during continuous use.

• The version is not switchable during operation
