The Clearaudio Goldfinger Statement V2.1 is Clearaudio’s absolute reference phono cartridge and is one of the most sophisticated moving-coil systems in the world. It is conceived as the brand's "magnum opus" and represents the technical and sonic maximum of what is achievable in the classic MM/MC phono sector.

At its heart is a completely newly developed MC generator principle with a perfectly symmetrical 12-magnet structure, which ensures extremely stable and low-distortion signal conversion. According to the manufacturer, this system enables an exceptionally high dynamic range of up to 100 dB, which allows for extraordinary micro- and macrodynamics in analog playback.

The cartridge is built without compromise in terms of technology and materials:

• Housing made of 14–18 karat gold
• 24K gold coils with extremely thin wire
• Boron cantilever
• Micro-HD diamond stylus for maximum groove tracking

This design leads to an extremely precise, fast, and at the same time highly controlled tracking of the vinyl record.
