The Clearaudio Innovation is a reference-class high-end turntable and is considered one of the most technologically advanced drive systems in the Clearaudio portfolio. It was developed to meet the highest demands for precision, smooth operation, and sonic neutrality.

The massive, resonance-optimized chassis, featuring a sandwich construction of Panzerholz and aluminum, forms the stable base for exceptionally low-noise playback. The 70 mm thick, precision-engineered platter runs on the patented Ceramic Magnetic Bearing (CMB), which enables near-frictionless rotation.

The integrated Optical Speed Control (OSC) with infrared sensor constantly monitors the speed in real time, ensuring extremely high rotational stability. The powerful, decoupled DC motor operates completely vibration-free, guaranteeing uniform and precise power transmission.

The Innovation also offers the option to mount two tonearms, making it flexible for use with a variety of cartridge and sound concepts.

In terms of sound, the turntable is characterized by extreme detail resolution, stable spatial imaging, very low distortion, and an overall neutral, high-resolution playback.
