The Clearaudio Maestro V2 is one of the best moving magnet cartridges in the high-end sector and represents the pinnacle of the classic V2 models within the Clearaudio MM series. It was consistently designed for maximum sound quality and combines sophisticated materials with highly precise manufacturing.

The system is based on a hand-polished ebony housing, which allows for excellent resonance control due to its high density. Additionally, an integrated metal plate inside ensures even more effective vibration dissipation. This results in a particularly calm, stable sound image with high detail.

A key feature of the Maestro V2 is its significantly more sophisticated technical construction compared to smaller models: it uses a boron cantilever and a Shibata diamond cut, which enables much more precise groove tracking. As a result, the finest details are captured better, especially in complex musical passages and inner grooves.

In terms of sound, the Maestro V2 is characterized by a very open, dynamic, and simultaneously finely resolved reproduction.
