The Clearaudio TT3 is a high-quality, high-end tangential tonearm belonging to Clearaudio's TT series, which is designed for exceptionally precise, linear record tracking. Unlike traditional radial tonearms, the TT3 follows the groove completely tangentially, virtually eliminating tracking error.

Movement is entirely mechanical, with no servo or motor assistance. The tonearm is guided along a polished glass tube via an extremely precise, dry-running ball bearing system. This design enables very smooth, low-friction movement and ensures exceptionally stable tracking geometry across the entire surface of the record.

A central feature is the two-point tangential principle, which ensures particularly exact guidance. The TT3 also features integrated height adjustment and a convenient lift mechanism, allowing for precise adaptation to various cartridges.

Since the tonearm operates fully tangentially, there is no need for anti-skating, which simplifies setup and reduces potential sources of error. The TT3 is thus a system uncompromisingly designed for precision, demonstrating its strengths particularly in the inner grooves.

In terms of sound, the TT3 offers very low-distortion, quiet, and high-resolution playback with excellent detail reproduction and stable spatial imaging.
