The Clearaudio TT3 in the Super Sixstream version represents an especially high-end variant of this tangential tonearm, combining precise linear tracking technology with sonically optimized signal transmission.

As a tangential tonearm, the TT3 follows the record groove in a strictly linear fashion, which practically eliminates tracking error. This leads to significantly reduced distortion and a particularly clean, stable playback across the entire side of the record. The movement is purely mechanical and without any servo or motor assistance, which allows for an absolutely interference-free signal base.

The tonearm is guided along a polished glass tube via a high-precision, dry-running ball bearing system. This construction ensures almost frictionless movement while providing high mechanical stability and minimal resonance.

The Super Sixstream cabling further elevates the sonic performance of this version. It consists of a specially low-impedance, balanced phono cable made of twisted OFC copper strands with Teflon insulation. It was developed specifically to transmit even the smallest signals loss-free and with maximum phase stability.

In practice, this means:
More quiet in the sound image, better detail resolution, and more precise spatial imaging compared to simpler cabling.
