The Clearaudio Virtuoso V2 is a high-quality moving magnet cartridge from the premium high-end MM class and is one of the most popular models in the Clearaudio V2 series. It was developed to deliver the most neutral, precise, and dynamic reproduction possible and represents the "sweet spot" for many listeners between price and maximum sound performance in the MM range.

The system is based on a hand-polished ebony housing, which enables very effective resonance control due to its high density. This creates a calm, clean sound image with excellent detail resolution. In addition, stronger magnets in the V2 version provide a higher output voltage and significantly increased dynamics compared to older models.

In terms of sound, the Virtuoso V2 is characterized by a very balanced, neutral tuning. It does not sound overly warm or analytically cool, but rather combines fine resolution with musical vitality. Particularly noteworthy are the stable spatial imaging and the precise channel separation, which allow instruments to be clearly positioned within the stereo image.

Compared to lower-tier models like the Performer or Artist, it offers:
