The Clearaudio VTA-Lifter is a high-quality accessory for the precise adjustment of the so-called Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) of the pickup cartridge. It enables exact height adjustment of the tonearm, ensuring that the stylus sits optimally in the record groove – a crucial prerequisite for maximum sound quality.

The VTA-Lifter is mounted between the tonearm base and the turntable and allows for sensitive adjustment via a precise threaded system. The setting is made in extremely small increments (down to 1/100 mm), which allows for very accurate adaptation to different record thicknesses or pickup cartridges.

A major advantage is that the height adjustment can even be made while playing. This allows tonal changes to be heard immediately and adjusted optimally.

The VTA-Lifter is made of high-quality stainless steel and is characterized by high stability and long-lasting precision. Thanks to interchangeable bushings, it is compatible with almost all common tonearms, including models from Clearaudio as well as other manufacturers such as Rega, Linn, or Pro-Ject.
